FYI Part II

December 6, 2007

OK, I may have screwed my domain name with this host switch. I just found out that if I switch hosts, I’ll have to manually upload all of my photos, which would mean I’m not doing it because that would take years. If the KathEats.com domain does anything weird, I will still be blogging here at http://Katheatsrealfood.wordpress.com. So use that until I get this all figured out! Ugh!!

Hello! You track your cals at calorieking.com right? Do you think it’s worth it for me to spend the $55 for 12 months? Do you get much more out of it then just counting your cals everyday? Thanks Kath!!

    Cathy,

CalorieKing has truly been a lifesaver for me. I LOVE the format, the community and the program. If you intend on using a food diary, then I would pay the $55 for this one. If you’re just thinking about doing it, I’d keep a written journal or use a free site for a while to see if you like it, and if you do, sign up for CK. I’m pretty sure they offer a money-back guarantee, so you might want to just go ahead and see! I like the online software the best because I can access it from anywhere, so that’s what I would recommend.

If you do sign up, say hi to me as Kath2226!

    Kath

After

My 25th Birthday at 120 lbs

Before

Summer 2004 around 150 pounds

In A Nutshell

I’ve lost over 30 pounds and did it the best way possible: hard work!

I am maintaining a 30+ pound weight loss at around 120 lbs. After putting on about 25 lbs in college due to foot surgery that kept me from running and out-of-control portions of “healthy” food, by graduation I was ready to take control of my life and make health my top priority.

My husband, then fiancé, and I spent a year cooking healthy meals and exercising everyday. He lost 30 pounds in 3 months; it took me a year and a half.

Now, -30ish lbs later, I’m the healthiest - and happiest - I’ve ever been.

Highest Weight: 151, December 2005
Goal: 120, March 2007
