I think I saw somebody asking about eating kiwi skin and I just wanted to say – you gotta try it! I know it looks like you’re biting into a squirrel but it has a nice tart flavor to it. And to cut the skin off wastes so much of the meat…

If you do not into eating the skin – like me, well I’ve never tried it but it kinda freaks me out – the best way I’ve found to ‘peel’ a kiwi is to cut off one end and then scoop the ‘meat’ out w/ a spoon. Yu just run the spoon inbetween the peel and the outer most part of the kiwi.

Hey, great site! the food looks great. Who named all those Superfoods? I got the feeling that’s not your list, because then you list some “should be” superfoods.

Anyway, congrats & keep up the good blogging!

In A Nutshell

I’ve lost over 30 pounds and did it the best way possible: hard work!

I am maintaining a 30+ pound weight loss at around 120 lbs. After putting on about 25 lbs in college due to foot surgery that kept me from running and out-of-control portions of “healthy” food, by graduation I was ready to take control of my life and make health my top priority.

My husband, then fiancé, and I spent a year cooking healthy meals and exercising everyday. He lost 30 pounds in 3 months; it took me a year and a half.

Now, -30ish lbs later, I’m the healthiest - and happiest - I’ve ever been.

Highest Weight: 151, December 2005
Goal: 120, March 2007
